Hannes Bok

Hannes Bok (1914 - 1964 April 11) was the pseudonym of an American illustrator and writer of fantasy fiction, mainly of pulp science fiction novels and magazines. The pseudonym derives from Johann Sebastian Bach (whose name can be rendered both as "Johann S. Bach" and "Johannes Bach"). He was born in Duluth, Minnesota as Wayne Woodard (though occasionally the more common surname name "Woodward" is applied to him). His early career was assisted by Ray Bradbury; he corresponded with Maxfield Parrish.
