Hakim Warrick

Hakim Warrick (born July 8 1982 in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania) was a 4-year college basketball player for Syracuse University. Under coach Jim Boeheim and sophomore Carmelo Anthony, he won a national title with Syracuse in 2002 as a freshman. The 6'8" (2.03 m) Warrick plans to enter the NBA Draft and is predicted to be a first round pick. In 2005 as a senior, he won the Big East Men's Basketball Player of the Year award. His last game came against Vermont in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament when Syracuse was upset 60-57 in overtime. They were a 4 seed, Vermont was a 13 seed.
