Hakata-men

Hakata-men is a type of ramen, first derived from the Hakata region. It has a pork-bone based soup, and rather thin noodles. It is favored for the harmony of its oily, but plain and simple soup, and the resilience of the noodle. One of the most diverse feature of this ramen, is the fact that several helpings of the noodle are accepted in most ramen chains. Therefore, it is possible to adjust your diet according to your hunger. Despite the origin of this ramen, recent ramen trends have made Hakata-men one of the most popular type of ramen in Japan, and nowadays many chain stores of Hakata-men can be seen all over Japan.
