Gx-9900-dv Gundam X DividerIn the anime series Gundam X, the GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider is the rebuilt GX-9900 Gundam X, which was severely damaged by the RMSN-008 Bertigo. Kid Salsamille, the mechanic of the Freeden, was the one who rebuilt the mobile suit. Although the satellite cannon could not be repaired, Kid equipped the Gundam X Divider with new weapons and other equipment. The most notable armament is the Divider, a shield that feature built-in thruster and 13 of beam cannon. Divider usaully mount on Gundam X Divider's back to serve as addition thruster and can use as hand carry weapon by deploy beam cannons to blast scattering beam (Divider with beam cannons deployed also call Harmonica cannon as nickname). The shield buster rifle also replaced by 2-barrel beam machinegun. While the Flash System still available, the modification make Gundam X Divider no longer compatible with the G-Falcon fighter.
After this upgrade the new GX was better than his old version in term of conventional maneuverability and firepower. The Divider was still piloted by Garrod Ran but after the Freeden captured the new GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X, the Divider was now piloted by Jamil Neate. Because the Divider still needed the G-controller (which was now used by the Double X and the crew of the Freeden only had 1). Kid modified the Divider's cockpit so that he could be piloted without the Controller. The GX Divider served as Jamil's personal mobile suit until the end of the war in AW 0015.
