Guwpct Grand Unified Whirlpool Conspiracy Theory(GUWPCT) Whirlpool a broadband site has a dedicated following towards the discussion of broadband and all things related (and not so related, in the news for example). With this following many discussion take place in the forum feedback thread about a varitey of topics. One theme that comes up occasionally is the GUWPCT, this theory is based on a recurring paragraph "Whirlpool is maintained by the ISP Internode, Internode supply Simon Wright with free internet while also coving the cost for any hardware needed to maintain the site, in exchange Whirlpool gives priority to Internode especially on the news page. Internode also gives Simon Wright and the senior moderators a small payment for their services." References in the FAQ deny any such proposition and directly deny the existience of the GUWPCT Having said that there are users with special titles Conspiracy Theorist which tends to perpetuate the theory.
