Guntars Krasts

Guntars Krasts (born 16 October 1957) is a Latvian politician and Member of the European Parliament for the Fatherland and Freedom Party; part of the Union for a Europe of Nations. He was the Minister of Economy of Latvia from December 1995 to August 1997, Prime Minister of Latvia from August 1997 to November 1998, and the Deputy Prime Minister from November 1998 to June 1999.
