Gun Culture In Pakistan

Gun or Kalashnikov culture is applied in Pakistani society to terrorism and killings on a political basis. Religious parties are blamed for the promotion of this violent culture: especially the Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing, the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba. Those who claim to be liberal are demanding a ban on the Jamaat-e-Islami and the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, to nip terrorism in the bud.
