Guevarism

One of the leading figures of the Cuban Revolution was Ernesto Guevara. He would not only turn into the icon of 20th century revolutionary struggle, but also attempt to reproduce the experiences made in Cuba in the form of a rather loose ensemble of theoretical reflections, thereby developing outlines of both of a theory of revolution and a conception of socialism come to be known as Guevarism. Another proponent of Guevarism is the French intellectual Rgis Debray, who can be seen as attempting to establish a coherent, unitary theoretical framework on these grounds.
