grup yorum

Grup Yorum is a Turkish band known for their political songwriting. The band was inspired by Inti Illimani in early 1980s and socialist movements in Turkey. Grup Yorum (Yorum means comment in Turkish) has released nineteen albums since 1985. Many of group members were arrested and tortured. Some of their concerts and albums were banned but Yorum remains popular and their albums continue to sells. Yorum has also given concerts in Germany, Austria, Australia, France, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, United Kingdom and Greece.
