Grp Records

GRP Records' is a United States jazz record company. GRP Records was founded in New York by Dave Grusin and Larry Rosen in 1982. Subsequently the company passed to MCA who used it for a time as an umbrella name for reissues from its holdings as well as for new recordings. Contemporary artists who recorded for the label include vocalist Diane Schuur and guitarist Lee Rittenour. Universal now controls the trademark.
