Groupdav

GroupDAV is a computer protocol used to connect Open Source groupware clients with OpenSource groupware servers. It is an effort to create a "down-to-the-earth" protocol, major goal of GroupDAV being to keep the protocol as simple as possible, and to stay focused on real world issues with OpenSource and free software applications. Client side GroupDAV implementations exist for KDE Kontact and Novell Evolution, work on Mozilla Sunbird is in progress. Servers include OpenGroupware.org, SOGo and the Citadel system. GroupDAV is a protocol which is supposed to be complementary to the CalDAV effort. CalDAV provides more extensive operations on calendaring folders.
