Grizedale CollegeGrizedale College is a college of Lancaster University, in Lancashire, United Kingdom. Formerly located in the south part of the campus, the development of south west campus, has resulted in the college now being considered as more centrally located. Grizedale College boasts a bar, junior and senior common rooms, a coffee shop, a laundrette and accommodation. The college is famous on campus for its small rooms, boasting some of the smallest student rooms on campus. Grizedale has a reputation as being a sociable college, attracting students from other colleges in the evening for events in Grizedale Bar, such as the "Shite Disco". Like the names of other colleges in Lancaster University, Grizedale comes from a feature in the local area. In this case the college takes its name from Grizedale Forest in the Lake District.
