Graf Spee

The Graf Spee (not to be confused with the much more famous warship Admiral Graf Spee) was a German Mackensen class battle cruiser that was never finished. She was laid down on November 30, 1915, on the Schichau yards in Danzig and had a length of 223 meters (732 ft) with a size of 35,000 tons. She was launched on September 15, 1917. Construction, however, stopped on November 17, 1918 - over a year before completion - and she was scrapped from 1921 to 1923.
