Grachan Moncur Iii

Grachan Moncur III (born in 1937) is an American jazz trombonist. He is the son of jazz bassist Grachan Moncur II. After playing with Ray Charles and with Art Farmer's and Benny Golson's Jazztet, he recorded two influential albums as leader: Evolution '63 with Jackie McLean and Lee Morgan, and Some Other Stuff with Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter.
