Government Of The 28Th Dil

The Twenty-eighth Dil was elected on 6 June, 1997 and first met twenty days later, on which date the Twenty-fifth Government of the Republic of Ireland was appointed. The Twenty-eighth Dil was the second longest Dil in history, lasting 1,806 days. The Twenty-fifth Government continued in office until 6 June, 2002.
