Government Of The 15Th Dil

The 15th Dil was elected on May 18, 1954 and first met on June 2 when the 7th Government of Ireland was appointed. The 15th Dil lasted for 1,022 days. The Seventh Government of Ireland - or more commonly the Second Inter-Party Government - is the name given to the government which lead Ireland from 1954 to 1957. The coalition consisted of Fine Gael, Labour and Clann na Talmhan. Yet again a dislike of Fianna Fil overcame all other problems in forming a government.
