gorkha national liberation front (c.k. pradhan)

Gorkha National Liberation Front (C.K. Pradhan), splinter-group of Gorkha National Liberation Front. GNLF(C) was formed in 2002 after the murder of GNLF leader C.K. Pradhan. Pradhan's widow, Sheila Pradhan, claims that he was killed by GNLF, since he was about to break away from the party. After the assassination Sheila and other floated GNLF(C). The party is led by D.K. Pradhan, member of the West Bengal legislative assembly from Darjeeling. GNLF(C) is a member of the People's Democratic Front, an alliance of parties in the Darjeeling area opposed to Ghising's GNLF.
