Gordon Mcmaster

Gordon McMaster (13 February 1960 - 28 July 1997) was a British politician. He served as member of Parliament for Paisley South from a by-election in 1990 to his death, soon after his party, the Labour Party won a landslide victory in the 1997 general election. The by-election was called after the suicide of Labour's Gordon McMaster, 37, in June. It was alleged that he had been victimised for being homosexual.
