Goo-goos

The goo-goos or good guys, were political groups during the era of the "Boss" and political machines between about 1875 and 1920 in the United States. The goo-goos supported candidates who would fight for political reform. These groups were often involved with bringing down men such as Boss Tweed of Tammany Hall.
