Gonesse

Gonesse is a town in the Val d'Oise dpartement, north of Paris. It is located immediately north of Le Bourget airport and southwest of Charles De Gaulle International Airport. Inhabitants: 24 701 (1999)

History

King Philip II of France was born here on 21 August 1165. On 25 July 2000, Air France Flight 4590, a Concorde supersonic airliner crashed in Gonesse.
