Golden Virgins

The Golden Virgins are a rock band from Sunderland, in the northeast of England. Their (now very rare) debut single "I've Seen the Light" was released in September 2002 by Rex Records, and, shortly after its release, the band signed to Hero Music Publishing and XL Recordings. The Golden Virgins consist of four former members of Sunderland band Brilliantine - Lucas Renney (singer/songwriter/guitarist), Neil Bassett (drums) David Younger (keyboard) and Allan Burnup (bass guitar). Their debut album Songs Of Praise was released on May 31, 2004 on XL Records.
