Gol Transportes Areos is a Brazilian low-fare airline. Launched in January 2001, the company's unprecedented low fares revolutionized the domestic Brazilian air travel market. As of 2004, Gol has carried 11,600,000 passangers, and now constitutes 20% of the Brazilian air travel market. The company owns 22 Boeing 737-7000 and 737-800 - Next Generation aircraft, with an average seat utilization of 63.3%, and makes 230 daily flights.
