Godzilla Vs. Megalon

Godzilla vs. Megalon (Gojira tai Megaro) is a 1973 film, the thirteenth in the Godzilla series of Japanese monster movies. Part of the Toho studio's Godzilla series, it was directed by Jun Fukuda, with special effects by Teruyoshi Nakano. Godzilla vs. Megalon features a bewildering assortment of underwater aliens and giant creatures, including three monsters (Godzilla, Megalon, and Gigan) and an Ultraman-like robot named Jet Jaguar. This film is considered one of the worst of the series. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most widely seen, and is one of the reasons for the disrespect of Godzilla in the U.S. It was one of two Godzilla films featured as episodes on Mystery Science Theater 3000, an American television comedy that mocks B-movies (the other being Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster).
