Godric's Hollow

Godric's Hollow is a fictional villiage from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Not much is known about Godric's Hollow other than it was the final hiding place of Lily and James Potter prior to being murdered by Lord Voldemort on October 31st, 1981. It was at this same time that Harry Potter was left with his lightening bolt shaped scar. Other possible speculations about Godric's Hollow are that
  1. It was James Potter's family home;
  2. It was the home of deceased Hogwarts founder Godric Gryffindor;
  3. Both 1 and 2 are true (along with the unlikely possibility that the Potters are descended from Godric Gryffindor).
