Goat Island, Sydney

Goat Island was early 19th century Sydney, Australia's gunpowder store and the source of the sandstone for the city. Quarried by convict labour, it was here that Charles Anderson was chained to a rock for two years. It was used as a dry dock in shipping for some time, and more recently was used to film the Australian television series Water Rats.
