Go Ask Alice!

Go Ask Alice! is a Q&A service provided by Columbia University for students (or anyone else) with doubts about serious subjects, usually relating to sexuality and drug/alcohol use. The name was inspired by the lyric, "Go ask Alice. I think she'll know." from the song White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane. The Alice! system usually dispatches progressive responses to questions about sexuality, encouraging readers to "be themselves" and engage in all types of non-harmful consensual activity, including but not limited to premarital sex, masturbation, fetish exploration, contraception, and abortion, while allowing for user discretion on the basis of religious beliefs or otherwise restrictive moral codes. Alice! answers questions on topics ranging from "The male hot spot -- Massaging the prostate" to "How do I let someone know s/he's special?". The service usually provides a fair amount of background information, references, and quotes from experts for those unfamiliar with the subject being addressed.
