gnasher and gnipper

Gnasher and Gnipper is a comic strip in The Beano starring the dog Gnasher (from Dennis the Menace), his son Gnipper, Dennis' Father and Dennis' Mother. It does not feature Dennis himself, nor his sister Bea. The strip first appeared in 1986, replacing Gnasher's Tale. Like that strip it was originally drawn by David Sutherland. The current artist is Barry Glennard. Gnipper has one long triangular tooth and looks almost exactly like his father. He loves to chase cats. The dogs get up to lots of mischief. They are both Abyssian Wire Haired Tripe hounds. Gnasher also has five daughters. See also: www.beanotown.com
