Glyn Styler

Glyn Styler is a vocalist in the tradition of Scott Walker. Statements of his background lean towards a unstable marriage, two kids, and a string of stays in mental health facilities. His music comes across as a genuine cathartic expression. He has completed LP called Live at the Mermaid Lounge, which is a friends studio with friend as the audience that are live on the record. He runs through some standards and his own material and it is an all around fantastic record that is now a cult favorite for fans of the style. He also completed an EP in 1997 & on Atavistic Records in Chicago with a hero of his own, Lydia Lunch who deuetes with him on the title track The Desperate Ones, a Jacques Brel cover. This outing also continues a instrumental version of the title track and the drum machine flavored - highly addictive, Wont Stop Loving You.
