Global One

Global One is an international voice and data telecommunications carrier, formed in 1996 as a joint venture between France Tlcom, Deutsche Telekom and Sprint. Although it built an extensive international network, it was never a financial success. In 2000, France Tlcom bought out the other partners, and in 2001 it was taken over by Equant who themselves had been bought by France Tlcom.
