Glenferrie Railway Station, Melbourne

Glenferrie is a railway station (station code: GFE) in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is located on the Lilydale, Belgrave, and Alamein lines, at Glenferrie Road and Railway Arcade in the suburb of Hawthorn. It is 6.9 km from Flinders Street Station, the center of the city's suburban railway network, and in Metcard ticketing Zone 1. Glenferrie is a "premium" station, meaning that it is staffed from first to last train, and has extra customer services available. The station provides direct access to Swinburne University of Technology's Glenferrie campus. The current station was constructed in 1916, following the raising of the railway line over Glenferrie Road.
