Glassy Junction

A Punjabi pub located in Southall. Located across from the Sikh Gurdwara and one block from the Southall Railway Station, it was the first pub in the UK to accept Indian Rupees. They serve several Indian beers on tap, including Kingfisher and Lal Toofan. They have regular British and European beers and hard alcohol, as well. Most of the customers are of Indian extraction. The staff speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi. Inside the pub, they have a map of Punjab and paintings of famous Punjabi entertainers. Worth checking out if in the area, say "Paanchod, menu daru chaydee!!"
