Glan River

The spring of the Glan River is north of the Wrthersee in the Ossiacher Tauern mountains. It runs through Feldkirchen northeastwards to St. Veit an der Glan, where it bends sharply towards south. It flows through the Zollfeld, the historical heart of Carinthia, through Klagenfurt, the capital town of Carinthia. At the southeast corner of Klagenfurt at Ebenthal it bends eastwards and flows into river Gurk.
