Giovanni Battista Pioda

Giovanni Battista Pioda (October 4, 1808 - November 3, 1882) was a Swiss politician. He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on July 30, 1857 and resigned on January 26, 1864. He was affiliated to the Free Democratic Party of Switzerland. During his office time he held the Department of Home Affairs.
