Gilbert Hernandez

Gilbert Hernandez and his brothers Jaime and Mario are the creators of a black & white independent comic Love and Rockets, published by Fantagraphics Books. Gilbert's (also known as "Beto") main work is "Palomar", a story about a fictional small village somewhere in Central America, and its inhabitants. If you compare Gilbert's work to his brother Jaime's, his drawing style is rougher, and more cartoony and expressive.
