Gholam Serwar Nasher

Ghaznavid Khan of the Kharoti and of Kunduz. Son of Shir Khan Afghan Nasher. President of the Spinzar Cotton Company. Founded the Nasher Gallery and the Nasher Library. Under him, Kunduz became the richest Afghan province. Avid hunter and photographer. Jailed after Prince Daoud's coup because of a personal feud. Then in exile in Britain and Germany. Died in Germany in 1982.
