Gfxartist

GFX stands for graphics or graphic effects. Since the launch of the digital art community site which incorporated the abbreviation in its name: GFXartist, the term gfx artist has become a common title for artists who practice the creation of Digital art. Besides the creating of graphics this also includes digital paintings, illustrations and 3D imagery.
