George Mason National Memorial

   
The George Mason National Memorial is a memorial to George Mason. It is located near the Mall in Washington DC, a short distance from the Jefferson Memorial. It was dedicated on April 9, 2002. It consists of a circular fountain, surrounded by benches, a short distance from the footpath. On one side, there is a long cement wall with benches. A statue of George Mason is seated in the middle bench.
