George Howard (Governor Of Maryland)

George Howard (b. November 21, 1789, d. August 2, 1846) was the 27th governor of the State of Maryland in the United States from 1831 to 1833. Howard was well known as a fervent anti-Jacksonian during his term in office. Howard and his wife Prudence (Ridgley) had fourteen children (nine boys and five girls). He died in his home, "Waverly", and is buried at St Paul's Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland. Howard, George Howard, George Howard, George
