Canadian House of Commons

Conservative

and served as
High Commissioner

United Kingdom
and Minister of the Overseas Military Forces in the
World War I
government of Sir
Robert Borden
. He subsequently served as
Secretary of State for Canada
in the
1926
government of
Arthur Meighen
and
Minister without Portfolio
in the government of
R.B. Bennett
