George C. Day

George C. Day was an American Rear Admiral in the US Navy. He graduated from Annapolis in 1892. By 1917 he was the Head of the Department of Compasses, Nautical Instruments, and Time Service at the Naval Observatory. He was the Commander of Cruiser Divisions 4, from 1927-1928, then President of the Board of Inspection and Survey in 1929 and again from 1931-1935, when he retired as a Rear Admiral.
