Geometric Kite

A separate article is about kite flying.
In geometry, a kite is a type of quadrilateral, a four-sided polygon. It has two pairs of equal sides, and the two sides in each pair are adjacent. (contrast with the parallelogram, where the sides of each pair are opposite.) In a kite, the angles between the sides of unequal length are equal, and the diagonals are perpendicular. If the two lengths are equal, the figure is a rhombus It is also an object that opposes the force of the wind with the tension of a string held by the operator. The latter term was inspired by the former.
