Geo Storm

The Geo Storm was a small coupe from the 1990s. It was a badge engineered version of the Isuzu Impulse. It shared the Impulse's 1.6 L engine, though in 95 hp SOHC or 130 hp DOHC forms. The Storm consistently outsold the Impulse, though the latter was more of a sports car with optional all wheel drive, a Lotus-tuned suspension, and a turbo engine. One notable aspect of the Storm was the optional 2-door station wagon "breadvan" body style. A more conventional hatchback was also produced. The Storm debuted in 1990 and was restyled without flip-up headlights for 1992. A 1.8 L 140 hp engine (from the Isuzu Stylus) was added that year in place of the DOHC 1.6. Although sales were strong, the Storm was removed from the Geo line in 1993. Storm
