gay and lesbian kingdom of the coral sea islands

The Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands is a secessionist movement, led by a group of gay rights activists. On June 14, 2004, they claimed the Coral Sea Island Territory and seceded from Australia, who has no official comment on the claim. The secession was in protest to the decision to ban gay marriage made by the Australian Government. The government is a constitutional monarchy led by an Emperor. The official flag is the rainbow flag, and they offer citizenship to any LGBT person and their allies.
