Gavin Whittaker

Gavin Whittaker is a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He ran for the Libertarian Party of Manitoba in the 2003 provincial election, and for the Marijuana Party of Canada in the 2004 federal election. In 2003, Whittaker ran in the northeastern Winnipeg riding of Elmwood. He received 67 votes, against 3954 for the winning candidate, veteran New Democratic MLA Jim Maloway. In 2004, Whittaker ran in the east Winnipeg riding of Elmwood-Transcona. He received 311 votes, against 15221 for veteran New Democratic MP Bill Blaikie. During this election, he listed his occupation as "sales representative". Gavin Whittaker is married to Rebecca Whittaker, who also ran for the Marijuana Party in 2004.
