Gang BangA gang bang is a situation in which one individual, either a man or a woman, has sexual intercourse with multiple men simultaneously. When a man has sex with several women, it is usually known as a reverse gang bang. The term was once considered an offensive taboo word, but is deemed less so today, to the extent that the word is sometimes used by news bulletins. The term originally applied to gang rapes, and also appeared in pornography, but in recent years it has also been applied to actual consensual sexual behavior. It exists as a specialized form of group sex, and sometimes figures in sexual fantasy. Derivative terms for gang bang include gangie, gang splash and gang slash. Gang bang can also refer to a murder. Sometimes in the news one will hear the term "gang bangers" used to refer to violent gang members. As both the sexual and violent usages of the term have become more common in the general media, the term has also started to be used in the general sense of "group cooperation." External links
