GamesNET is an Internet Relay Chat network devoted to the Internet gaming community. This is for multi-player games played over the Internet, including MMORPGs (Massively Multi-play Online RolePlaying Games) such as EverQuest. The network formally known as GamesNET merged with the ProGamePlayer Network to form GameSurge due to a legal dispute over the domain name gamesnet.net. The original owner of the domain now provides the same chat services as a "relaunch" of the network.
