GalenaGalena is a mineral, see Galena (mineral) or lead sulfide. Galena is also the name of Czech pharmaceutical company residing in Opava. The company has changed its name to Ivax Pharmaceuticals in 2003. Galena is also the name of some places in the United States of America, named for the mineral: There is also Galena Park, Texas, and a Galena Summit in Idaho.
