Fundi

In Green Party of Canada and German Green Party usage, fundi is a label applied to members who tend towards a fundamentalist interpretation of green values. Tends towards veganism, a strong animal rights approach and an aversion to traditional political methods, preferring to maintain decentralized grassroots organization over a more centralized system of governance. Other terms for fundi are 'wild green' or 'deep green'. In Swahili, the word means craftsperson or skilled technician, such as a carpenter, plumber or mechanic. In biology, fundi means the bottom or the lowest part of the a sac or hollow organ; that part which is the furthest from the opening.
