Fuengirola

Fuengirola is a town on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain in the province of Mlaga and the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is a major tourist resort on the Costa del Sol and home to a medival Moorish fortress. During the Peninsular War, on October 15, 1810 the fortress was a place of the Battle of Fuengirola, in which approximately 200 Polish soldiers of the Duchy of Warsaw defeated the mixed Corps of Lord Blayney, numbering some 3000 British and Spanish soldiers.
