frostmourn

Frostmourne is a deadly sword forged by the Lich King in the Frozen Throne. A runeblade, it is evidently semisentient (or at least empathic) and allows the bearer to hear the words of the Lich King. It also has the power to drain the life from its victims and grants its wielder incredible supernatural and martial ability. Unfortunately, it also happens to drive the wielder insane, and siphon their own soul away or corrupt it. Once-Prince Arthas bears the Frostmourne, which sucked away his soul and drove him into the service of the Lich King.
